In May I plan on running the race for life 5k with my two sisters 💕 This race will be an emotional one for us three as our Granda passed away last year and we will be running across the line together in memory of our Granda Shaw who was a strong, noble and adventurous man who made everyone in the room roll over and laugh. Our Granda was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and once he overcame it he was diagnosed with the disease a year later again. Granda underwent an experimental treatment and sadly it didn't work. Granda's words on his last few week's of battling this disease were that "he didn't regret the treatment as he knew if it didn't help him it would help someone else" 💙 We are incredibly proud to be Brian Shaw's granddaughters and will race in memory of him but will live life everyday remembering and honouring him.

As well as running the race for our Granda we will be collecting donations to support those battling the disease right now and in the future and support those family members affected by it as well. Cancer Research is an amazing charity which will discover new medication and ways to treat and support all those affected by the disease. I understand that everyone is under a lot of financial pressure at the moment so I don't expect everyone to donate however the smallest of donations can really make a difference and it would be greatly appreciated. I aim to raise £100, I have attached my just giving page to this post and I will also have a donation sheet available if anyone prefers to donate in person. Let's beat cancer! 🎗️
