Story
I am cycling the 140km Velothon Wales on May 22nd in order to try and raise money for the Crohns Map vaccine.
The Crohns MAP vaccine is the product of 30 years of research into a long awaited cure for Crohns disease. The research needs funding in order for it to be manufactured and put through testing before it can be available to those who need it.
Last July, a group of friends and I managed to raise over £3000 for Crohns MAP vaccine by cycling the length of Wales over a few days. This year I am aiming to carry on that tradition by competing in the gruelling 140 km one day Velothon Wales cycling race across South Wales.
The Crohns MAP vaccine is a very important cause to myself and my close friends as we are fully aware of the effects Crohns disease can have on a person's life. Any donations you can give to this great cause will make a difference, and will certainly help keep me pedalling in my last few kilometres!
