Story
I am running in the 2024 LONDON MARATHON… 26.2 miles in memory of my cousin Jack Snow, who after 10 long years lost his battle to a brain tumour in July 2020 at the age of 28.
The Brain Tumour Charity helped him and all of our family through the darkest of times and it is only right that we dedicate all of the proceedings to this amazing cause.
Jack was a true inspiration to so many. He never shied away from the fight (just like his beloved Millwall FC) he entered every day with a smile on his face and a cheeky comment or two. He was a true fighter and someone who we miss every single day.
Please donate what you can to try and help individuals and their families who are going through a similar situation. This is a disease that is cruel and life limiting, taking loved ones away far too soon. With your help and donations we can find a cure for this.
If I could run as well as I eat this task would be easy, but given I sit between a desk all day and snack when I can … this is going to be a whole lifestyle change and a HUGE commitment for the coming months.
This challenge is nothing compared to the challenges Jack went through and it’s an honour to be able to take part in the London Marathon.
So let the training and the fun 👀begin…
