Story
During our spring and summer 2021 terms, we are going to support Raise, West Hertfordshire Hospital Charity.
Our first event was our virtual triathlon which we held in the first half of spring (during remote learning) for all our pupils in Years 1-8. Amazingly we raised £1280 for the charity!
The second event will be our annual outdoor challenge for Years 3-8 in April, where our pupils will start from the climbing wall before moving onto the assault course with the finishing leg being cyclo-cross.
We will add others events as they occur, so have increased our target to £2000 for the two terms.
We chose an NHS charity as the children indicated that they wanted to support the NHS in these tricky times in a pupil voice activity in the autumn term.
How much you wish to donate is entirely up to you. If you would also like to share to friends and relatives so that they can show support, that would be very much appreciated.
This is from Raise: We currently have around 100 staff doing both day and night shifts to treat and care for COVID-19 patients. We have had immense support from the community but more is needed at the situation gets worse. Please help support our staff at #TeamWestHerts
