YHC has thriving adult and junior sections but as of summer 2014 we will lose use of one of our main pitches as the surface is relaid for football.  We desperately need a pitch of our own.  YHC has secured a site for our new pitch and funding from different sources but the club needs to raise a substantial amount of money itself.  The Ladies 2s; Ruth, Sophie, Emily and  Alice and special guests from within the club; Sarah, James and Eric are running the Yateley 10k on 2nd July to raise money for the pitch project.

Levels of fitness in the 'off' season leave a bit to be desired so training is underway with a varied degree of experience of road running a 10k distance.  For some it is about finishing and for others there may be some PB chasing to encourage you to be generous with your donations!
