Story
On August 19th 2011, our beautiful Yasmina passed away suddenly and unexpectedly leaving a huge void in many lives.
Yasmina had Cystic Fibrosis and Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Her friend Portia who also had CF passed away on the same day. These two beautiful girls had their lives cut short by this cruel condition, but they never complained.Yasmina always lived life to the full and many people did not know she had CF. She was always smiling and laughing and never let her condition get her down. Yasmina has left a true legacy, her fighting spirit and determination has inspired both people who knew her and also people who never met her.
We have raised a phenomenal amount of money already with various different events, including a sky dive, London to Brighton bike ride and also the Brighton marathon and evenings organised by our friends.
Please give anything you can, it all helps. Its too late for Yasmina and Portia but there are 5 children born every week in the UK with Cystic Fibrosis, so a cure needs to be found to give these children a better chance of survival.
Please give what you can, the CF Trust desperately need to begin the second phase of gene therapy trials which could lead to a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.
Please help to see off CF!!!!!!!!
