This is Hao Yan. I am working as a market researcher in Beijing China.  Reaching and helping those who in need has always been a meaningful and important part of my life besides daily work in the business world.

Meanwhile people might get sick of news about how crazy Chinese tourists empty the luxury stores and buy real states in UK and the US, I am indeed surprised when knowing in Cangyuan Yunan, under 5 mortality is 4 times bigger than in urban centres. Just because of the lack of very basic medical knowledge and service to preventable and curable diseases like pneumonia and diarrhoea, we are losing kids' life everyday.

Not only rich man can do charity. Everyone like you, like me we can do it in any time and place. 3 GBP can offer a better quality mosquito net to prevent malaria. 0.4 GBP can offer the basic medicine to cure pneumonia. I want to help those kids and those mothers. The goal is to fund money to build a medical centre for kids in the underserved village in Nuoling township Yunan province. 

To get your support, I will do the following things:

1. Challenge 3800 altitude high to -the highest one in Yunan. I will walk at least 9KM-mostly climbing at the slope of 30 to 60 degrees for 2 days;

2. Participate the building work of the village medical centre for kids for one day. I will send you pics and more information so you can see how our efforts turns into lifesaving centre for local kids.

大家好，我叫郝妍，在北京做着一份市场调研类的工作。在商业世界努力工作之余，在自己的能力之内帮助那些需要帮助的人对我来说意义非凡。

大家肯定对于媒体上各种中国旅游者如何将海外奢侈品店抢购一空以及中国投资客如何疯狂的抢购美国和英国的房产的消息司空见惯了，但你知道吗？在云南那些农村5岁以下的儿童死亡率是城市的四倍多。并不是因为那里的孩子患了绝症，很多死亡是由于像肺炎，腹泻这样完全可以被预防和治愈的疾病造成的。由于缺乏最基本的儿童健康护理和治疗知识与条件，好多孩子失去了生命。

不是只有富有的人才能做公益的，每个人都可以，每天都可以，每个时刻都可以。30元就能给一个孩子购买好一点的放蚊虫传播疟疾的蚊帐，3块钱就足够给一个孩子提供治疗肺炎的基础药物。我想帮助那些孩子和母亲。具体计划是募集一笔资金帮助在云南一个叫和凌村的地方修建一所儿童健康医疗诊所。

为了获得大家的支持，我会做下面三件事情：

1、挑战自己的极限。如果我能挑战空气稀薄，海拔3800米的轿子雪山，在主要路程是30到60度的坡路每天至少行进8公里并走两天的话，请捐助我。

2.参加一天修建儿童医疗诊所的劳动。我会将照片和诊所的具体信息发送给每个捐助者，让大家看到我们的努力如何在云南和凌村变成实在的拯救儿童生命的诊所。
