On Friday 17th June 2022 the students and staff at York High School will be walking '500 Miles' (and possibly 500 more) to raise money for Mermaids.

We have always championed inclusion and diversity at YHS, being one of the first schools in York to take part in the York Pride parade, we are proud to say we led the way in helping York Pride be the first parade in the country to have every local secondary school in the parade.

This year the YHS Pride Club wanted to support Mermaids, to make sure that all young trans, non-binary and gender diverse students have access to the help and support they need.
