We provide wigs to children with cancer to restore their confidence and identity.

Story

In September 2017 I heard that children who have cancer or other illnesses sometimes lose their hair and there is a charity that makes wigs for them from donations of human hair. I decided I would like to help, so I started to grow my hair.

People often think I am a girl because of my hair. That does not bother me. I want to grow it as long as I can so there is a lot of hair for the wigs to be made. I think I will have my hair cut by my hairdresser, Suzi sometime in late 2020!!  [edit- thanks to Covid-19 this didn’t happen!)

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. They receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for them so that they can help more families.
