We provide healthy meals to families to minimize hunger in our community.
Story
The saying “It takes a village” has become a reality during this unprecedented time. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our community and the faces of hunger. The challenges facing our community are like no other we have experienced. Families are struggling with so many “new normals” – increased expenses, juggling work and homeschooling, job loss, stay at home orders. The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank works hard reduce this hunger, and you can help. Every dollar donated helps us provide 4 meals.
