Story
We have taken up the challenge of running 26.2 miles from Marylebone to the “Field of Dreams,” Amersham & Chiltern RFC with the promise of a couple cold pints at the end with our friends & family. We would be amazingly grateful of any support that we might receive and believe that even if we aren't worth a tenner then this amazing charity is.
If you don't feel like parting with any money then we reckon this is a great opportunity for a socially distanced get together on the 17th of April at the Rugby, Club which will hopefully be serving beers outside.
Ed's two younger cousins, Max and Sam were both diagnosed with Beckers Muscular Dystrophy, an illness which causes muscles to weaken and waste over time. Despite promising research, there is no medical cure for Beckers yet and at the age of just 16, Max required a heart transplant & more recently, Sam has been fitted with a defibrillator
Incredibly though, Max has recently graduated from University with a degree in Graphic Design and starting his own company & Sam is set for University this September either at Southampton or Portsmouth. Their determination will be a constant source of inspiration for us as we battle the 26.2 miles & raise funds for this amazing cause.
