Dear Ice hockey,

There was a time when my mental health descended down a dark path.

But in those dark times I had you, you showed me how to escape, how to believe in myself, and most importantly, introduced me to a community of people who supported me through it.
When I’m on the ice, I’m me again.

You challenged me in ways I never thought I would ever experience, but you’ve also rewarded me with great opportunities and greater moments.

One of those great opportunities is turning a dream into a reality, playing for Team Mind.
You showed me how to overcome and battle through the storm guided by the love of the sport, now I’m honoured to be a part of something that helps support others going through similar experiences.

Thank you for saving my life.

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page. The MIND Mental Health Charity ice hockey team will be competing at the Allstars charity ice hockey weekend in July 2023. The tournament brings 8 charities together all aiming to raise as much money and awareness as hey can throughout the year. The tournament is then a celebration of all that ha been achieved. Team Mind will be working hard throughout the year to raise funds for Mind in a variety of fun ways. We are also hoping to connect with as many people as possible to help them feel less alone with their mental health struggles. We've joined together to raise money for charity.
