Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Thursday 15th December we are inviting all pupils to take part in a Christmas Jumper Day for charity. We have chosen Thursday as the children will be having their Christmas lunch on that day. Wearing their jumpers will make this even more festive.
The children and staff get to wear their sparkliest or cosiest Christmas sweaters for a donation of £2 (or an amount of your choice). This may be cash to the classteacher or via our online giving link. This will enable us to support the RSPCA, with a local focus on the South West Essex Branch. This is an independent charity run entirely by volunteers. The main activity is animal welfare - taking in rescued animals, caring for them back to health and finding them a forever home. Animals that come into their care are distressed, sick, injured, abandoned or abused.
£10 could help to provide a day's board for a horse who has suffered cruel treatment.
£25 could help provide a full health check for a dog rescued from neglect.
£50 could help equip an inspector's van with an animal first aid kit, pet carrier and an animal catching set.
This cause was voted for by the children.
