Angela and Ben will be treking through the Brazilian Rainforest in September 2012, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
We will be trekking 97 km over 5 days, through dense rainforest. We will reach heights of 1600km, and walk through a 376m long cave. We will face creepy crawlies and push ourselves past our mental and physical limits.
We are supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care as Dad attended the day care centre at Marie Curie Hospice, whose services are completely free to patients and their family members. Dad received free help and medical support for pain control management and physiotherapy. They even gave him a free haircut and unlimited visits to the alcohol trolley!
The staff and volunteers are fantastic and Dad was treated like family, not just another number. I wish the NHS could offer the type of care that Marie Curie do...
Marie Curie Cancer Care rely completely on voluntary donations to continue offering their full service, and this is our way of giving back to them, and saying thank you.
So please dig deep and donate now to this worthy cause.
