Story

John Busby, Lewis Brain, Phil Stanley and Will James will be completing a combined marathon in support of the Chippy larder on Sunday 3rd May. Each of us will be participating in a 6.6 mile run which will make up a full marathon. We are all volunteers at the community larder which occurs weekly at the Better Leisure Centre in Chipping Norton, where we usually work.

SOFEA do fantastic work using surplus supermarket food in the Thames Valley area, which would otherwise go to landfill to create food parcels to support over 3000 households that really need it most in these unprecedented times across the Oxfordshire & Buckingham area. Each parcel costs £3 to produce and distribute, so every little donation really does help!

If we reach our target of £1000 John and Phil will run a full marathon and Will and Lewis will run two half marathons on consecutive weekends.
