Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have completed our planned route and rode 11 damp and soggy miles between Mountnessing, Ingatestone, Hutton and Shenfield and visted a total of 13 churches. Not too bad for Georges little 8 year old legs!

Thank you very much for your donation. The money raised will go to helping maintain and restore the historic Churches and Chapels of Essex, with half dedicated to our "home" church of  St Mary's in Shenfield.

FOECT, founded in 1951, raises money to help preserve our heritage by the making of grants for the repair and restoration of Christian churches and chapels throughout Essex and East London. The annual Ride & Stride event is a major source of income.
