Story

Last year: 4 hours 2 minutes

This year: I want to beat that!

I am so pleased and excited to be running the marathon again for Catch22. It was such an amazing experience last time and it is a privilege if I can again do something to highlight the need for us to invest in young people in the UK.

My training is well under way and going really well but this is the easy part! Now I want to raise as much money as possible for Catch22 and aim to finish the raise without throwing up!

It gives me strength that the money and profile I am raising for Catch22 goes to a cause I strongly believe in: young people. Every young person deserves the chance to get on in life no matter what.

Catch22 works in over 150 towns and cities, and works with 37,000 young people each year. Their programmes help to develop the confidence and skills to grasp solutions that are right for young people; from getting back into school or into training, choosing to stay out of crime, finding a safe place to live and helping them with the skills needed to live independently after leaving care.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks for your support
