Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Emma Maltby, my aunt, was an out-going, generous and spiritual person who was adored by her family and friends. “Once you became Emma’s friend you became part of the family”, as spoken by one of her good friends. Emma died of cancer on the 14th May 2003 aged 38.
Each day in the United Kingdom, six teenagers will discover they have cancer. The Emma Maltby Memorial Fund strives to make life better for children, teenage and young adult cancer patients. The charity offers a unique service provided by specialist Learning Mentors who deliver an educational programme to young cancer patients attending both the Leeds General Infirmary and St James’s University Hospital for treatment.
To support them, Rob, Chenry and I are climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales all within (hopefully) 24 hours on the 27th July 2018. We would be extremely grateful if you could support us in our challenge.
