Story
Originally the idea of doing the Coast to Coast was fuelled by a middle-age crisis and the chance of playing some golf. Things have changed. This is so much more about raising money for charity. As a Dad, my visit to Julia's House moved and inspired me. JH looks after kids with life limiting illnesses so parents, siblings and carers can get a bit of down time. It also brings some extra sparkle, often to kids who don't have much time left, and does it through an amazing group of dedicated staff. It's not unusual for parents to decide that the last few days, hours and seconds for their children be spent in Julia's House. Julia's House does all this free of charge.
This is a first step for me. From June and beyond, every day I deliver training for my own business, I'll donate £35 to this brilliant charity. £35 buys one hour's specialist support for the kids. Whatever you can spare would be fantastic. Right, with a 34km run, 104km cycle and a 4.5km kayak to get in shape for, best get my green flash on.
