Story
Andrew tragically died in a climbing accident in the Alps on September 11th this year. He was doing what he loved.
My brother climbed mountains all over the world, from the Himalaya to the Rockies and from the Alps to the Andes but he learned and honed his skills on Winter weekend trips in Scotland. If the conditions were good and there wasn't room in the CIC hut on Ben Nevis, he would camp outside rather than miss the chance of an early start.
Andrew never did need the Lochaber Mountain Rescue, but we take comfort in knowing they would have been there if he had got into difficulty. We'd love it if people could give what they can to support this worthy cause and help save lives in the mountains.
If anyone wants to join us we will be in the Brewers Inn, Wandsworth from 7pm on December 3rd.
Many thanks,
Jen and all of Andrew's family
