Story
I will be cycling the 100 miles in May 2024, to raise money for Oakhaven Hospice Trust. In Memory of my Father, Miles Ayling who passed away in October 2005 of a brain tumour.
I’ve now raised collectively £7k for Oakhaven over the last few years - and I'm looking to hit that £10k mark with this challenge!
Its important to me to raise money for this charity as Oakhaven made those last days, not only for my dad the best they could, but for me, my brother and my mum, showing nothing but love and care for us all.
I want this challenge to not only be in memory of my dad, Miles but also to be in memory of other loved ones near to me and my friends that have we have lost to cancer. My godfather, Andrew Hodges who passed away in 2014. David and Charlotte Penman, parents to a friend Tom Penman. And the mother to Roxy Imam, and sister to Hilary Short, Helen, who they lost at the end of 2017.
