We provide family-led care and support to children with life-limiting conditions

Story

Martin House is our local children’s hospice, caring for over 450 families through the Yorkshire region.  They aim to make every day count for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

They were the second children’s hospice to be built in the UK in 1987, and they continue to be widely respected throughout the country and overseas as a leader in the children’s hospice movement.  Their services are free of charge 365 days a year, and families receive their support in their homes and at the purpose built home from home hospice.  They offer help and support in a calm and loving environment to the entire family.

Hunters are committed in helping Martin House to raise funds to help give the families the help and support they need.

We are holding a “row-athon” in our Wetherby office (equipment kindly supplied by Sunny Gym in Wetherby) on the 13th March between 9am and 5pm where staff members, and speacial appearances by Tadcaster Albion football players, will be working as a team to see how far we can row during the day.  We would be grateful if you could help us by pledging a donation.  We would be pleased to see you in the office to give us your support, or you can even have a go yourself to help us raise as much as we can for this well-deserved charity.
