Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
On Monday 30th June, eight West Hove Golf Club Members will attempt to play 101 holes of golf each in a single day to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Macmillan "Longest Golf Day Challenge" is an annual event in which hundreds of teams across the country participate to complete 72 holes of golf in a single day.
Our team has decided to increase the challenge to 101 holes this year in an attempt to set a new record at West Hove Golf Club. This equates to approximately 33 miles of walking, 5.6 rounds of golf and 448 shots per player.
West Hove Golf Club took part in the event last year and intends to participate every year. Cancer is something that impacts many people's lives be it through family, friends, work colleagues or yourself. That is true of the team taking part this year and that of many fellow West Hove members.
We intend to tee off at 4am in the morning and complete the 101st hole at around 9pm. Your support on the day would be very much appreciated.
Please help us to support this extremely important charity and generously sponsor us. Please remember to select the Gift Aid Box as this helps to raise more money.
Your support would be very much appreciated.
