We have set up this page for everyone taking part in and supporting The Fountain Centre Wellbeing Walk being held at Cranleigh Showground on Sunday 11th September 2011.

 

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer last year, my family and I have found The Fountain Centre to be a place of great peace and wellbeing and a source of endless advice and support throughout the diagnosis and treatment.

 

I am fortunate to have responded very well to treatment and am now taking the opportunity to raise funds for this great charity.  With my family, we are organising this sponsored walk and wellbeing event, blending the ethos of the Fountain Centre with a family day out.  The day starts with a sponsored walk and then continues with lunch from our organic food and drink stalls and a chance to browse our wellbeing stalls sampling complementary therapies and purchasing products.

 

Every pound you give helps towards our overall target of £10,000.  The Fountain Centre costs £500 a day to run with other specific costs ranging from £10 for a book or CD for the library to £50 for one month's supply of acupuncture needles and £1,000 for a new massage couch.
