Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Armpits 4 August is a month-long event in which women are encouraged to grow out their armpit hair, to raise funds for and in solidarity with women who suffer from PCOS (poly-cystic ovary syndrome).

Not to cause confusion, but I'm SHAVING mine, just because I haven't in coming up to 6 years and I wanted to be able to still raise money for this. Plus my friends know how much of a big deal it is to me to shave.

But for all you other wimminz out there who keep your pits shorn, why not try challenging not only society's standards (because let's face it, this is a HUGE standard pushed on women by the media, consumerism, the beauty industry and even other women..) but also your own habits, and the way you perceive and treat your own body.
