We focus on early diagnosis and awareness to improve survival of pancreatic cancer

Story

In memory of Tracey Pelling,  we will be walking 500 miles from Scotland to London, in just 28 days, with only £500 to spend on food, drink and accommodation!

Last December, we lost my Auntie Tracey to pancreatic cancer. Her battle from diagnosis to passing lasted just 8 weeks, which is an incredibly common statistic among suffers in the UK. There has been no change in the survival rate of people diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in over 40 years, with only 5% of people diagnosed surviving for longer than 10 years... Something NEEDS to change.

Our aim is to raise £10,000 for Pancreatic Cancer Action. The only chance of beating this aggressive form of cancer is by catching it early. PCA are the only charity in the UK that focus on improving pancreatic cancer survival rates through early diagnosis. Together I truly believe that we can make a difference.

If your life has been touched by pancreatic cancer, whether you have been diagnosed, or have a story to share about a love one, we would love to hear your story. Please send us an email on wewalk500@gmail.com
