It's almost three years now since i entered the Marathon des Sables and it's been a long time coming.  Much has happened since then to make me believe that fundraising on behalf of MacMillan is the right thing to do, not least of which was the loss of my godmother Velma, due to cancer, amongst too many others.

Not everyone will want to run through the desert, but please donate some money to support me and help motivate me through the miles and miles of training in the Lake District winter, as well as "competing" in the desert come April 2012.
