2013 was a rough year for me.  I spent a large chunk of it homeless and I can tell you surviving a rough winter in the North East of England is no joke.  If it wasn't for friends and family I don't know what would have happened to me, I honestly don't believe I would have survived it.

Fortunately I do have friends and family, a great support network which helped get me back on my feet and a roof over my head.  Many people don't though.

So I've decided to grow a beard for a year and will be shaving it off on the 1st of January 2015 and try and raise a bit of cash in the mean time for Crisis.
