Story
On the 8th January 2011 firefighters from Wandsworth Fire Station Green Watch attended a fire on East Hill in Wandsworth. They rescued all the residents from the premises and extinguished the fire saving the building. Unfortunately in the process four firefighters were seriously injuired.
Thankfully they are now all on on the road to recovery and their rehabilitation has been helped greatly by the Firefighter's Charity.
To support the Firefighter's Charity and the Childrens Burns Trust, members of Green Watch Wandsworth have decided to organise a charity appliance pull between the two hospitals that treated the firefighters following the incident (Chelsea & Westminster and St. George's, Tooting)
