Story
Each year, Kingswood School in Bath fundraises for charities in Malawi. Events have been trickier to run over the past 18 months with COVID, and so it has not been possible to raise as much money as normal. Sadly, charities such as Open Arms Malawi, have seen less money coming in, but even greater need in country. Some staff children have decided to try and raise as much as they can, by walking the 'Kelston Roundhill' loop, which is 10km. To make the walk more challenging, some children are trying to do all or some of the walk barefoot! The ages will range from 14 months (albeit being carried!) all the way through to 14 years, with at least 15 children taking part. Thank you very much in advance for your support. The walk will take place on Wednesday 1st September.
Every child has the right to life, survival and development. By supporting Open Arms you are providing medical attention, shelter, food and love to some of Malawi’s orphaned and abandoned children. Your donations allow us to give the children in our care the chance to grow up with the love of a family and the security of a home until they are fit enough to return to their communities. Thank you!
