Story
In 4th week (9th-13th of February) a group of Wadham students are going to the "Living Below the Line" to raise money for Child Poverty Action Group.
It's a simple challenge: you live on £5 for 5 days. This means no multiple-course college meals, no alcohol, no coffee (or chocomilk for that matter) but instead a diet of plain pasta, porridge oats and tap water - we also can't accept any free food or drink, so please don't try and tempt us. We will also be donating the money we save on food!
With more than 1 in 4 children growing up in poverty in the UK today, CPAG leads the way in campaigning to end Child Poverty in the UK and for a better deal for low-income families and children. You can find out more about their work here: http://www.cpag.org.uk
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!
