A BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE SPONSORED US SO FAR!
WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF MORE POUNDS TO GO TOWARDS THE £5K TARGET - this is the cost to put a puppy through guide dog training to support a blind person throughout life.
The challenge went very well, we covered 70 different travel modes throughout the three days across Kent and London all in fancy dress!
Team members faced a personal phobia of the sea by travelling on a banana boat and we all fell off! also a phobia of heights with a ride in a crane basket - so high! The most "odd" mode of transport as it were was the hearse that took us from Westwood Cross to the QEQM hospital whereby a theatre trolley etc and a rubbish cart was waiting.
The challenge was completed yesterday, Sunday 23rd August finishing at Westwood Cross, owned by Land Securities and was a complete success and everyone loved it.
We couldn't believe how generous and supportive everyone was, both public and staff of various travel modes, the London Eye staff were incredible and fast tracked us in the queue so that we could continue you on with the remainder of the travel modes.
The crazy people who completed the challenge were Tracie Stevens, Marketing Manager from Westwood Cross Shopping Centre (owned by Land Securities), her partner Harcus; Johnny Lewis, KMFM radio presenter and his wife Donna.
We all really appreciate your support so please keep donating!
