Story
My journey
I was seriously injured in a Taliban Ambush in Afghanistan December 2011, since then I have spent a lot of time in and out of recovery and still live with some permanent damage and restrictions.
Help for Heroes, supported my recovery and I was able to make a near full recovery. This is thanks to the facilities they have built, although i was out for 13 months, my recovery was quick and I am now, apart from my restrictions, a fully fit and deployable soldier.
Not all Service men and women that have been injured have been as fortunate as me, some have had life changing injuries and will continue to need support - and thats where Help for Heroes come in.
ITS ALL BEEN TRAINING - I completed 60 miles on the Worlds Toughest Mudder Course at New Jersey in 2013, 65 miles of the notorious Nevada desert course in 2014 and 70 miles in 2015.
WTM 2016 - I've put many hours and many miles in preparation for this years event, and my goal is 80 miles - 16 laps of the supercharged Tough Mudder course.
