Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 3rd June 2011, ten members of West Mercia Police will be carrying out a 42 mile walk along the Normandy D-Day Beaches from Omaha Beach to Sword Beach.  Then the final 3 miles from Caen to Pegasus Bridge will be completed on 5th June to arrive at one minute past midnight to commemorate the glider landings that started D-Day.

All those taking part will be paying their own expenses and all funds raised will be going to the Royal British Legion.  Please feel free to sponser us for the walk, no sum is to small
