West London United · 6 September 2014

We fund PKD research and give help to transform lives

Story

On 6th September we plan to walk to all 4 professional football grounds in West London, Griffin Park (Brentford), Craven Cottage (Fulham), Stamford Bridge (Chelsea) and Loftus Road (QPR).  Our finishing point from there will be Wembley Stadium.

We are doing this walk in aid of PKD Charity UK.

Polycystic Kidney Disease is a genetic disease that affects 1 in 20,000.  A friend of ours, Tom, passed away at the age of 26 earlier this year, unaware he had this disease.  This walk is being done in his memory, and to help fund the PKD Charity in their efforts to "raise awareness and fund research into the causes of PKD, with the hope of discovering treatments and a cure."

All donations are welcome, and you can send donations via text by sending the code WLUW99 to 70070
