Story
On Saturday 2nd May 2015, a Walter Lilly team will be taking part in the 'Tough Mudder' challenge. The team members are Alex Clark, Ben Ladyman, Charlie Roberts, Erica Denman, James Boulton, Melissa St Fort, Rupert Kenyon, Shaun Frampton, Stuart Yates, Tom Battley, and Tom Morgan.
The event consists of a 10-12 mile obstacle course, with obstacles called 'Electroshock Therapy', 'Cry Bay (involves tear gas!), 'Arctic Enema (Ice bath)', 'Boa Constrictor', 'Ring of Fire' and the famous high wall called 'Everest'.
We will be taking part to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust, a fantastic charity that supports those aged between 13 and 24 in their battle against cancer. 7 young people are diagnosed with Cancer every day in the UK. Without the work of Teenage Cancer Trust, young people with cancer are treated alongside children or elderly patients, isolating them when they most need specialist support and care.
Any donation that can be offered towards this very worthy cause will be greatly appreciated. Given the pain involved with the obstacles we hope you agree any sponsorship money will be well earned.
Thank you in advance for your support.
