Water Well Projects:
The well foundation primary aim is to raise money to install Hand Pumps, Deep Bore wells, establish health & sanitation programmes to provide Safe, Clean Drinking Water for All.
Clean, safe drinking water is scarce. Today, nearly 1 billion people in the developing world don't have access to it. Yet, we take it for granted, we waste it, and we even pay too much to drink it from little plastic bottles.
Water is the foundation of life. And still today, all around the world, far too many people spend their entire day searching for it.
In places like sub-Saharan Africa, time lost gathering water and suffering from water-borne diseases is limiting people's true potential.

Well Foundation do a few types of Water Wells:
- Tube/Hand Pumps,
Access to safe drinking water can transform lives. The gift of a tube well will ensure that 3-4 families have access to clean water for drinking, washing and cooking.
Tube wells are manually operated and can lift water from about 30 metres beneath the ground. They are designed to last at least 10 years and can be easily maintained by the beneficiary.
The wells are located in convenient locations, often between a cluster of houses.
Note: A well can take up to 2 months to complete as in some locations they can only be constructed during certain times of year, usual turnaround is 6 weeks.
- Solar Water Wells:
Access to clean water can transform the lives of entire communities.
Solar Wells can serve up to few hundred people, providing access to clean water for drinking, washing and cooking, as well as keeping livestock hydrated.
Solar wells are a good solution for small communities.
