Story
A group of Network Rail employees are to cycle alongside the route of the West Coast Mainline from Wembley, London to Oxenholme, Cumbria. A total of almost 300 miles. This will take place on 21st, 22nd and 23rd June 2013.
On 21st June the group will leave Wembley to begin the adventure. The first day is possibly the hilliest of the three days with several big lumps to get over.
The first leg of the ride will end in Rugby where the group will meet with some more sensible colleagues from the Rugby office who will then all take part in a 12 mile cycle ride to Brinklow and back. This ride is no walk in the park for some, who haven't ridden a bike since they were children, which was a long time ago!!
The following day the group will depart Rugby to cover approximately 90 miles through Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Chesire to Middlewich.
On 23rd June, the final push, the group will leave Middlewich to climb and climb the 90 something miles to Oxenholme.
Whether you would like to sponsor one of the members of the 300 mile ride or of the 12 mile ride, all donations will be greatly appreciated.
