Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 10th Marcvh 2013, I will be facing one of my biggest fears and abseiling down the side of Battersea Powerstation to raise money for the CLIC Sargent "Joshua Flynn Fund".
Joshua is the bubbly 4 year old son of a close family friend, who was diagnosed as suffering from a rare and agressive form of cancer just before Christmas. During his treatment, his family have been supported massively by the CLIC Sargent team at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
The Joshua Flynn fund is aiming to raise £12,000 in order to fund the use of a family room in one of their "CLIC Houses" for a year. The Clic Houses enable the family of children undergoing treatment to stay close by to the hospital with out the need to worry about finding local accomodation if they have to travel a long distance. They are also a great help with resources and staff on site to help in what can be a very upsetting and confusing time for family memebers
