Story
I’ve signed up to the london 100 mile bike ride, yes I’ll be following in the footsteps of Olympians, but more important is the reason why I’m doing it and why I’d very much like your sponsorship.
I’m cycling on behalf of the Bone Cancer Research Trust who are a fantastic organisation funding research (bone cancer is one of the rarer cancers and there are loads of different types) and spreading awareness (an early diagnosis gives the patient a much better chance of a full recovery). I’m also cycling on behalf of a very special individual called Alex Lewis who you can find out more about here. 100 miles is one heck of a challenge for me (not the most sporty person in the world) and my target of raising £2000 is a big one, but with your help I know I can make the target and get round that course (yes even up the frankly terrifying box hill).
If you could please give anything you can afford that would be fantastic, every penny will be put to awesome use by BCRT.
Please also visit http://www.bcrt.org.uk/ for the latesrt information and ways you can spread awareness. THANK YOU!
