I’m raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my amazing dad Steve Nunn. My dad sadly died 8 years ago at the age of 57 of a sudden cardiac arrest caused by coronary heart disease, which is the leading cause of death worldwide and causes 64,000 deaths each year in the UK. As a result of my dads death I also became a cardiothoracic nurse and now help patients with heart disease and those going through open heart surgery. I will be running the Virgin London Marathon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation's research and to prevent more families going through the same heart break we have had to endure.
