As some of you will know, I adopted my lovely boy Jack in October. He came from a wonderful animal charity, FLORI'S FRIENDS RESCUE, which specialises in the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of serious trauma and neglect cases, often spending thousands of pounds (not to mention time and love) to give them a brighter future. Jack was reported to them by a concerned member of the public who had spotted him wandering around with a terrible leg injury which resulted in partial amputation. Thanks to Team Flori, he is now a healthy and happy boy who is loved very much.

Flori's Friends Rescue is a UK-registered charity which has rescued over 1,500 animals from across Britain and Europe, providing health care, rehabilitation, training and the loving new home that each one deserves. They currently have a number of animals in their care who have very complex medical needs, and of course this costs a huge
amount of money. Unlike the large 'corporate' charities, they do not receive any financial aid other than from fundraising, so every penny counts towards being able to continue helping unwanted and abused animals. You can read more about the charity, including success stories and animals currently available for adoption, at florisfriendsrescue.org
