Story
Hi
Almost 20 years ago I had a serious riding accident whilst out eventing, resulting in a broken back, a crushed pelvis, internal bleeding and other internal damage. With out the fantastic air ambulance crew I would not have made it to the hospital as quickly, or as smoothly as I did. Since then I have always tried to support them, whether it be coins at a service station charity pot, clothes in their bins or events they hold. However I thought I would do something a little bit bigger and dramatic to gain your support also.
I am sharing this crazy challenge withThe Matt Hampson Foundation, As they help those that have had sporting injuries like mine and far worse. Matt used to play for and is still part of "the best" rugby team there is- the Leicester tigers. I have been a supporter of the tigers since before I was born!... My mother supported them when she was a girl, therefore my brothers and I have been season ticket holders most of our lives. So I leave it up to you who you'd like to support.
My aim is £3000. in total, but always happy for more! I hope that you can support me with both, even if it is a couple of quid. We could also take healthy bets as to how long my mother will not want to see me until it grows back!!!
