Join Vics in the community in going Around the World in 80 days 🌏

Hi Everyone,

We have decided to take on the challenge to go around the world in 80 days to raise money for Whiteleys Retreat - www.whiteleysretreat.com

As a community we will be looking to do a combined 24,901 miles in 80 days. To do this, we are going to need everyone’s help. We have set up a community group on strava and would love it if as many people can join the group and take part. The app is free so there is no cost to join. We would ask if anyone is able to make a donation if they could please donate to the just giving link below. The challenge will begin this Friday and we will keep everyone updated with the daily progress of the challenge. We need to be averaging 311 miles a day as a group so the more people we have the easier the challenge will be. We are raising money in aid of Whiteleys Retreat, to help them build funds to get the facility reopened
when it is safe to do so. They provide vital respite to so many families around Ayrshire and beyond, and we would love to help make this covid-19 crisis easier for them! You can do the challenge anyway you like walking, running or cycling and we would encourage all ages to get involved and do what they can. When you have a big challenge like this every mile counts, so we would love as many people to get involved as possible. If everyone could please like and share the post and please comment any names of people you think would like to be involved.
