Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set myself the challenge of running my first marathon in memory of my mum. In doing so, I have decided to raise money for Myeloma UK, the only organisation in the UK that deals exclusively with myeloma, the disease my mum courageously fought for 4 years.

Myeloma is a type of cancer arising from plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow. Complications of myeloma include severe bone pain, bone fractures, fatigue, frequent infection and kidney failure. Currently there is no cure.

Please consider sponsoring me and helping me on my way to raising my target of £1000 for Myeloma UK. All donations will be most gratefully received.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
