My fabulous team at SPORT Manchester have succeeded in getting over 1000 of our University community to run this fabulous race for charity. Social responsibility is a headline goal for the University and we are hoping to raise over £100,000 together to support local and national charities. Many of our runners don't think they can run 10K and a number of them never ran before signing up! We have inspired them to get active and get involved, and we're supporting them through led runs throughout the week and a dedicated web page to help with all their queries.

I know that I can run 10K, but I'm hoping that you can support me in recognition of this fabulous achievement. I will carry all 1099 of them over the finish line if they need it!
