Story
Thanks for visiting my Project Myemyela JustGiving page!
In the coming Easter break, I will be heading out to the rural South African village of Lephepane, Limpopo, in helping-hands of Project Myemyela- a student-led organisation set out to design and build a brand new nursery school for the children and teachers at Lephepane village.
As Lephepane village is one of the poorest and least developed regions in South Africa, The department of Architecture & Built Environment at the University of Nottingham hopes to create a safe, bright and clean learning environment to inspire education amongst the children of Limpopo.
Your kind donations towards Project Myemyela will not only better the current schooling environment in Lephepane village, but improve the overall living standards in Limpopo. All the money raised in this fundraiser will go directly into building the project, as it will contribute towards the costs of materials, tools and project logistics! Travel expenses such as flights, accommodation and food will be all paid by myself.
'Myemyela'; defined as 'to smile' in Sepedi, is the goal for the children at the end of our expedition. :)
