Domestic Abuse Survivors registered Charity 1183864 was set up to support all those that have fled Domestic Abuse in all forms. We started with helping those who had moved into new accommodation with household items/appliances/furniture/toiletries/clothes etc purchased by the charity and donated from the Local community. Recently i have just secured funding from Bucks Childrens Social Services to do independent outreach work with those who have experienced abuse and are under Local Authority care. We then teamed up with Buckinghamshire Children's Social Services for their Christmas appeal to help donate as many gifts as we can this Christmas to children and young people known to local authority care weather through child protection plans, child in need plans or intervention. Unfortunately all forms of abuse can be involved and these families often have very little. We have been busy fundraising and purchasing gifts for those aged 0-18 years this Christmas but there is still a great deal left to do.
