Story
Hi everyone,
As some of you know, in July 2011, I sadly lost my Dad to a heart attack.
In memory of my Dad, together with my Mum and my Brother I am taking up the challenge of cycling from Vietnam to Cambodia. This may come as a big surprise to you all due to my 'allergy' to exercise and expert knowledge of tea and biscuits!
I hope to raise awareness of the British Heart Foundation, in particular the importance of 'happy heart health' and the training of life-saving skills.
It is also a big physical challenge for me, and will not be easy, but I aim to get healthy and fit, and training for this adventure will definitely help me to achieve this.
My Dad loved time spent together as a family, and I know that the fact that we are embarking on this challenge as a family would mean the world to him and he would be very proud indeed!
Please keep checking for updates on fundraising and training. I expect there will be a many a comical photo of me and my bike making 'friends' hopefully all photos will be me on my bike and not on the floor!
Thank you all for your support!
