Story
Hello
I've set up this page in memory of my Mum, Diana. She was a loving, strong, creative and immensely passionate woman. A talented poet, a loyal friend, a fabulous Mum, a drinker of endless cups of tea, a smoker of endless roll-ups and a smile that would light up the room. She lived with schizophrenia all of her adult life and had a four year battle with breast cancer. I miss her like crazy.
I'm going to keep this page open and if you can't think of what to get me as a present for birthday or Christmas or you've appreciated some of my young people's music / wit / or charm (ahem), perhaps you could make a donation. For friends and family of Mum, on any of her anniversaries or whenever you think of her, you can click here in her memory.
There were many people and organisations who were brilliant with my Mum. I've chosen Cornish Hospice Care to be the beneficiary of any donations because they were amazing. Mum spent the last month of her life in St Julia's Hospice in Hayle and the support, love and care they provided was astounding. What's incredible is that the care they provide to terminally ill people in Cornwall is free of charge and they rely on charitable donations and volunteers in order to continue. In short, they rock and they deserve all the support possible.
Thanks very much, lots of love...
Vicki
